#BLOGTOBER + #WRITE31DAYS
Friday, October 2 :: Describe your ideal day.
**Note: Sorry for the delay. Something happened with my posts and I completely did not follow up. So multiple "days" will be posted today.
My ideal day? All day Disney. Literally. During the Food and Wine Festival.
I think just waking up on Disney property makes me in a better mood. Waking up in a suite at the Boardwalk hearing the hustle and bustle of runners and families and vacationers. I would spend the morning drinking coffee and reading and blogging.
Around 9am (because I would wake at the crack of dawn to get the most out of my ideal day), I would head over to a park. Preferably Magic Kingdom to start out my day, and then Epcot later in the afternoon. My husband would join me for some rides at Magic Kingdom and maybe lunch at Epcot's Food and Wine Festival, but then disappear to a golf course so I can stroll the streets of the world alone and read on my favorite park bench in the United Kingdom.
I know that reading at Disney sounds bizarre, but it is my favorite thing to do. I feel so creative and "me" at Disney. I love reading in the busiest of places, and when I lived and worked on property during college, I use to hop on a bus to Epcot and read. It was some of my favorite times. The ability to do that now is far and in between. Even paying to get into Disney with the intentions of reading... just silly to the average mind, I know. But if it was my ideal day, it definitely makes the list.
The evening would finish off with my husband and I meeting for dinner. I love to cook with him and with the suites at Disney's Boardwalk Villas, you get a full kitchen! According to the mood, I would maybe want to cook with him inside our suite, accompanied by a large bottle of wine and our balcony overlooking the bay facing Epcot's fireworks. If not, an evening on the boardwalk itself with a nice dinner and the perfect bench for fireworks would be suffice.
Even thinking about it, it makes my heart warm and bring a smile to my face.
