I'm not saying that I don't have repetitiveness, nor are all the pictures wonderful. However, I finished a project.365 at the end of 2011 which means that it is the first thing that I officially completed on my thirty before thirty project. I miss it too and I have really considered starting it again another year down the line.
Project 365 requires one to take a picture every single day for an entire year. Some do it of their kids; some do it of themselves. I took pictures of my life that was evolving around me.
2011 was the year that I fell in love with my husband, the year that I started graduate school, the year that I gained direction and purpose. Some days were more difficult than others, and weeks would pass that looked super repetitive, snapping pictures of beer glasses and blue polos from Best Buy. I learned a lot about my lifestyle from photographing it everyday and a lot about photography. I would encourage this project from anybody, not just photography lovers. It is inspiring, eye-opening, and wonderful to see completed.
