Week 20 Bumpdate
size of the baby :: Banana!
total weight gain :: 8 pounds
gender :: Bouncing baby boy!
maternity clothes :: I'm still too small for most of my maternity clothes... and yet too big for my regular clothes. Maternity tanks and cardigans have really been all I've worn outside of the house.
movement :: I thought felt kicks on Thursday, like real kicks with boyish strengthen behind them... and since then, nothing. I'm starting to second guess that maybe I made it up...
sleep :: I've been sleeping through the night; however, none of it is good sleep. I'm ready for bed at 9 and I don't really want to get up when I need to in the morning. During day, my energy is maintaining though.
missing :: Deli sandwiches... I think it's just because I told myself I cannot have them.
craving :: I've ate more waffles, cereal, and breakfast carbs than I really should be admitting aloud...
symptoms :: Beyond a good pregnancy cry this week, not a whole lot of symptoms.
duston is :: Working tons. Maybe I was just spoiled last week with the long stay-cation home, but I feel like I just haven't seen him a whole lot.
looking forward to :: We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow evening and a marriage retreat this weekend!
best moments :: I spent Saturday downtown in Soulard enjoying Mardi Gras festivities. Not the parade itself (which is this weekend), but Mardi Gras is truly a monthlong event in St. Louis. With the second largest festivities of the country, my friends and I spent the whole Saturday going from restaurant to restaurant for Taste of Soulard. We had a blast and I felt really just normal for a moment. Not that pregnant is bad, but with the cold weather and being tired, forgetful, and emotional all the time, I just haven't felt myself. Saturday, with 65 degree sunny weather, I did. It was so good for my heart and soul just to hang out with friends.
