Week 28 Bumpdate
size of the baby :: Bunch of Bananas
total weight gain :: 17 pounds. Thankful I'm slowing down. I could go two or three weeks without gaining anything and would be perfectly happy...
gender :: Bouncing boy.
maternity clothes :: I still have a few shirts that I'm attempting and a normal dress here and there, but really, I'm in maternity clothes for the rest of the game. Good thing I am loving all of my items from PinkBlush!
movement :: Tons. I think he has taken up Zumba.
sleep :: None. Some days the afternoon naps on the couch is all I feel like I can get. Come on Thursday with that queen bed.
missing :: Caffeine. I have necessarily been the anti-caffeine gal during this pregnancy but I still try to keep my intake somewhere in between 80-130 mg a day (which is below the recommended level). With whole no-sleeping thing however, I miss my sodas that seem ultra necessary right now.
craving :: Donuts, but I'm limiting myself to one a week. 🙂
symptoms :: The heartburn has really gone away for the most part, but I keep waking up with terrible leg cramps. My calf muscles are super tight and even with extra bananas, water, and foam rolling, I am in quite a bit of pain around 4am every night or so. This doesn't necessarily help with the sleeping issue either.
duston is :: Almost done painting and carpet ripping. I think we'll not have to start another remodel project again for a long time...
looking forward to :: Getting my glucose test over with. For whatever reason, I am uber concerned about it. I'm sure that normal but I just do not want to have any complications when it comes to even more food restrictions. I also hate my blood being drawn.
best moments :: Easter weekend was full of joy. A wedding. A family dinner. It was just the greatest.
