Week 32 Bumpdate
size of the baby :: A bundle of asparagus!
total weight gain :: 22 pounds... must have been all the treats at the shower. 🙂
gender :: Baby boy.
maternity clothes :: My original maternity skinny jeans are getting tighter in the hips. I guess that's a good thing though... I think I want my hips to widen a bit pre-birth.
nursery :: Now that we have carpet and paint, we are attempting to start on the nursery. I know we still have plenty of time, but I am so anxious to get it finished and decorated! The nursery is really full of baby items from the baby showers and we still don't really have furniture assembled (or even in yet) to organize it all. I guess all in good time...
movement :: More pushes and jabs instead of kicks and sudden moments.
sleep :: Sleep is hit and miss. I know it's expected and really I am getting plenty. The hours in between 4a and 6a are sleepless, where as all I want to is sleep from 6a and 7:30a. It's a good darn thing that my office is in my house and I can roll out of bed and start work within moments. I'm not sure my sleeping schedule and a daily commute would compute.
missing :: Not a hold lot really this week.
craving :: Still nothing healthy. I'm attempting to eat more fruit, veggies, and protein... but honestly, all I want is donuts and ice cream.
symptoms :: My heartburn is back. More so over the weekend than the weekdays. I wonder if I'm eating differently on the weekend, now that I think about it?
duston is :: Back to switching out outlets. There really isn't much left on the home remodel side, but we do still have new outlets needing installed, touch up paint here and there, and getting the rooms back in order to start prepping for the baby.
looking forward to :: My birthday weekend! This weekend I turn 30 -- ek!! We are going to keep it obviously a mild 30th birthday and with all of the family and friends events that we have had with the baby showers lately, a weekend of just me and him chilling sounds so much fun. There's a local antique vintage market coming to town and a community indoor baby garage sale that I want to visit... maybe some shopping for me?!
best moments :: I know I said this last week, but dang... my friends and family are amazing. The shower was just perfect and I cannot believe how many baby items we have for our little boy. Just the love shown in homemade baby blankets is mind blowing to me. We have over five or six homemade blankets for our guy! It was such a great afternoon with everybody.
