By giving into every instinct I have...
- Staying up too late registering for every mama-to-be Instagram giveaway? Check.
- Waking up without an alarm as often as possible? Check.
- Finding every spot in the house that needs to be cleaned pre-baby (even if it hasn't been cleaned in 6+ months)? Check.
- Standing in the middle of the nursery not knowing what to organize/put away/set up next but still feeling uber underprepared? Yup.
- Reading too many mom blogs? Absolutely.
Not thinking about labor? As much as humanly possible. - Wondering if I should pack my hospital bag? Definitely.
- Putting off packing my hospital bag because I don’t know where to start or what type of PJs to pack or if I am going to overpack or under pack, even though I’ve read about 1 billion lists of “what you should pack in your hospital bag”? For sure.
- Googling "what do contractions feel like" every time there is a random pain or ache in my abdomen? Check.
- Putting off setting up my "out of office" email at work because I have "plenty of time"? Check.
- Having an internal panic every day or so because there "is no time left"? Haha! Yes.
- Eating way too much ice cream? Absolutely.
- Requiring a large glass of chocolate milk every night with my prenatal? Definitely.
- Over not being able to reach the bottom of the washing machine and feeling HUGE while simultaneously wishing my belly would stay this way forever because the unknown of my post-pardem belly is so... unknown? Check.
With three weeks left, I feel completely all over the place and heard that is completely normal. Oh goodie. 🙂
How did you prepare for your little ones in the last few weeks?
