Week 35 Bumpdate
size of the baby :: Spaghetti Squash
total weight gain :: 26 pounds.
gender :: Baby Boy!
maternity clothes :: As my hips are widening, my cute maternity skinnies are getting a little snug. I'm switching to skirts, dresses, and leggings more these days.
nursery :: We spent an entire evening moving furniture back and forth in the room the other night. Every large item is back to where it started with little to no progress. We were suppose to spend a good chunk of our Saturday on the nursery and ended up helping somebody else move... maybe this weekend.
movement :: Active and normal.
sleep :: Sleep is on and off still. I keep waking up with the worst heart burn and the idea of laying back down is too much work. Instead, I am hanging out with the cat at 2am for almost an hour or more each night.
missing :: Still deli sandwiches and hot dogs.
craving :: Still on a fruit kick.
symptoms :: Tons and tons of heartburn. This kid better have some hair. 🙂
duston is :: Working a lot this week. Honestly, we both are. I had a major project roll out to the company on Monday and he has been understaffed due to somebody else's paternity leave. Post-season hockey has also trumped our evening goals lots lately as well.
looking forward to :: I feel redundant, but I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend. It has been rainy and cooler with sunshine and 80s on the horizon. After two Saturdays in a row seeming to end up a bust on our own home front, we are saying "no" a lot and focusing on getting things squared away here.
best moments :: Dusty's diaper party was such a hit. The men definitely showed their love for him in a massive pile of diapers! I also believe that he won the cornhole/bags tournament they had going on as well! He genuinely needed an afternoon of hosting the dudes at our house and I'm so happy that he was able to do just that.
