I cannot believe we no longer have a "newborn". There have been so many moments that I have wanted to just freeze time and keep him so small. The first few days of his life in the hospital dragged by; however, since we have been home, it really has gone by so fast. We are getting into a routine with eating, sleeping, and awake time. Thankfully, that awake time is beginning to be less about crying and more about him discovering the world around him.

We have done so many "firsts" already this month. We have ventured out to Target, Walmart, Old Navy, Kohls, Lowes, and multiple restaurants. Even through his three weeks of nonstop crying (literally), he managed to do super well at church and during our adventures. We also have had our first bath, first trip to my parents, first adventure with just mommy (to daddy's work), and first walk with our new baby friend, Amelia. We love walks around the neighborhood and sleep through the night fairly well.

His head has healed up so well from when he was born, but his poor skin has gone from a newborn rash to baby acne. He finally has lost all of his umbilical cord and still has marks on the bottom of his feet from all the pokes in the nursery and hospital. He is so expressive and I cannot wait to continue to watch his little personality grow.
