One thing that the majority of nursing mamas go through is the fear of "is my supply dropping"? We have all had it. That moment that we do not know if we will have enough milk to make it to our "goal age" or that we are not doing enough to keep our supply up. Every night and every morning I pop this on the opposite side that I am nursing. Each day I get at least 3-5 oz. just in those two sessions around bedtime and wake up. I could have so much more if I would have been more persistent with it. It is so easy to use and a miracle.
So when I discovered that NatureBond made other feeding supplies, I knew I needed them and that's when I stumbled across their baby food silicone feeders. I'm obsessed already and Lillie hasn't even started with solids.
We do baby-lead weaning in our home which basically means that our kids eat what we eat and there's not a whole lot of baby food being bought in our home. But that doesn't mean that our kiddos just can eat solids right away. So when Ollie moved into the world of solids, we tried many of the popular feeders. Mesh feeders by Munchkin, silicone feeders by Boon, and a few others, but what we found was they were really not great. First of all, these are the most value for your money that I can find out there. They come in a two pack with 3 different sizes of silicone sacs for food. This allows for me to use ones that reflect Lillie's appetite instead of buying different ones as she grows. We'll start out with the small size and then continue to pop on larger sacs as she matures in her eating habits. It also has a turning knob for custom adjustment of length and to squeeze the fruit juices out for consumption.
These are also super great for teething. Although they were originally designed in candy-like colors that stimulate baby’s appetite for consumption of natural nutrients from fruits and vegetables. It is also a safe way to introduce our little ones to solid food while they go through weaning and teething phase. The all-in-one feeder can also soothe baby's teething discomfort by massaging the gums through chewing on chilled or cold foods that you place inside it.
They are so easy to clean as well! NatureBond's designers ensured the feeder is easy to dismantle and wash because no mom needs to have cleaning challenges as their priority. Unlike other feeders, NatureBond feeder has no irremovable components and can be fully dismantled for washing and cleaning purposes, which means no gunk to try and clean out of hinges or cracks in the design.
