Ah summer. Guys, I can just feel it. It is coming and I cannot be more excited.
Summer to the Bahorich family means a lot of getting out of our house, hanging out with our neighbors, and doing all of the activities that are available to us that get us out in our community to make relationships and have some fun! We also love to do evening walks in our neighborhood. We try really hard to be intentional in getting to know the folks that live next door and down the street and our evening walks help so much with this!
One of the biggest issues we have had in the past during the summer is making sure we have all of the supplies ready to go for a day of adventuring, and honestly, this did not get ANY easier once Lillie joined our crew.
Diaper Bag? Check. Purse? Check. Sippy cups? Check. Sunglasses? Check. Change of clothes? Snacks? Swim gear? Check, check, and check. Stroller... this was always a debate.
Did we need it? Of course we did! We have two kids under the age of 3 and even if we wore Lillie, Ollie's little legs are bound to get tired or Lillie will want some freedom of her own. And yet, my trunk of my lovely little Chevy Cruise is TINY. Yes, a stroller will fit in it; however, as soon as we ended the day, that stroller had to come out of the trunk so I could fit anything else in it. Groceries, a diaper bag, shopping, anything else would not fit.
So we have always struggled when it came to remembering our stroller and even if we did, it was a debate in between how much we needed it and if we'd prefer the space instead... and that was if we were staying local. Forget taking luggage for a weekend getaway AND a stroller. Not happening.
