Where: O'Fallon, IL
The splash pad at the sports park in O'Fallon is our favorite. This one is one of the largest one around with the most features.โ
Kids can cool off in multiple sprayers and dumping water buckets. There are smaller sprayers perfect for the littler ones. The creek area is one of the best and most unique features. A manmade creek flows on both sides of the main splash area with waterfalls and pools to play in.โ
The splash pad also features two smaller playgrounds. One side is designed for toddlers while the other has larger climbers for the older ones. The surface of both play areas is grass turf. Be careful as the small slide and bridge can become slick but they are not very tall.โ
A larger playground with mulch surface is located near the southeast corner of the park at the Obernuefemann Rd entrance. There is also a lovely landscape area and waterfall here.โ
Restrooms are a short walk down the sidewalk from the splash pad heading towards the soccer fields.โ
The splash pad is open daily 10:30-7:30. Tot time hours are Tuesdays 8:30-10:30 for kids ages 5 and under only. (No older siblings.) If you visit please clean up all trash and belongings to keep it nice for all visitors.
