Little Passports: A Midwest Mama Review

Are you looking for a fun and educational way to keep your little ones entertained? Look no further than Little Passports! As a busy Midwest mom of two curious kiddos, I am always on the lookout for new and exciting ways to spark their interest and ignite their imaginations.

Little Passports is a monthly subscription service that offers a variety of educational products designed to inspire children's curiosity about the world around them. One of their newer offerings is the science kit, which we recently tried out and found it is perfect for kids who love hands-on experiments and learning about the natural world.

About Little Passports Kits

Each kit comes with a different theme and includes all the materials needed for experiments. Lillie and Ollie love getting their hands dirty with the fun and exciting experiments that come in each kit. Whether they're learning about electricity or exploring the solar system, they always have a blast while learning something new.

We were able to recently try out their solar system kit. It comes with all the materials needed to conduct experiments related to the sun, planets, and other celestial bodies. Lillie and Ollie love learning about space, and this kit has been a fantastic way to spark their interest in astronomy. The kit includes a detailed guide that explains the science behind the experiments, as well as fun facts and trivia about the solar system. The experiments are hands-on and engaging, and have taught my kids about everything from gravity and orbits to the phases of the moon. It's a great way to teach kids about the wonders of the universe while also having fun together!

What sets Little Passports apart from other science kits is that they encourage exploration and discovery. Their guides explain the science behind the experiments, but they also encourage kids to think critically and come up with their own ideas. This approach fosters creativity and curiosity, which I love to see in my kiddos.

What's the cost?

Little Passports offers a range of subscription options for children aged 3-12, with different products tailored to different age groups. In addition to the science kits, they offer monthly packages that focus on different countries and cultures, as well as activity books and other educational materials. The pricing varies depending on the product and subscription length, but the company offers several options to fit different budgets and needs. The monthly subscription starts at $15.95 per month, and the longer the subscription, the more you can save. The company also offers a monthly payment plan for some of their products. Shipping is free for all subscriptions within the United States.

More about Little Passports

Little Passports was founded in 2009 by two moms, Amy Norman and Stella Ma. The idea for the company came about when Amy and Stella were discussing how to introduce their own children to the world beyond their home. They wanted to create a fun and interactive way for kids to learn about different cultures and countries, and so the idea for Little Passports was born. The company has since expanded to include science kits and other educational products, but the original mission of inspiring children's curiosity about the world remains the same. Little Passports is dedicated to helping children develop a love of learning and a broad perspective on the world around them, and we are grateful for their dedication to education and exploration!

As a busy mom, I also appreciate that Little Passports is a subscription service that includes a monthly package of activities and games related to different countries and regions. It's like a mini world tour or a trip to a new museum for Lillie and Ollie each month! They love learning about different cultures and customs, and it's a great way to teach them about the world beyond our Midwest home.

Overall, I highly recommend Little Passports for any parent who wants to encourage their child's curiosity and love of learning. It's a fun and engaging way to spend time together while also teaching them valuable lessons about science, culture, and the world around us. Give it a try and watch your kiddos' eyes light up with excitement!

xoxo, Heather
