What a weekend. Two concerts. A trip to Nashville and back. A quick photo shoot with a dear friend and her family. But it was a blast. Although I have a hectic week before me, our vacation is within reach and we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Before we let this week fly by, I wanted to tell you about one of our reasons for going to Nashville and give you a sneak peek into SPG Moments.

It all started through a giveaway that The Points Guy was conducting several months ago. I constructed a quick write-up on my favorite Starwood hotel, the St. Louis Westin, and after a few days, I was notified that I had won two tickets to any of the Hear the Music, See the World concerts. With some points from a work trip, we quickly booked our stay in Nashville at the Four Points and signed up our evening for a treat from Kellie Pickler.

The Hear the Music, See the World concert series is just one of the wonderful events that Starwood hotels provide to its members. Membership is free, and their point system is one of the best out there. It is so easy to rack up points in their hotels for free stays. Additionally, members can use their points on events, like the Hear the Music, See the World, that are unique, intimidate, and entertaining. From golfing with the pros, culinary experiences, and private concerts, the "SPG Moments" are endless for Starwood members.

Our night was simple but extremely memorable. A cocktail hour with some of Nashville's best local craft brew (Yazoo) and barbecue started our evening off. We chatted with Neil McCormick, the owner of Yazoo Brewery, about the event and his beer. A photo booth and live band also highlighted the cocktail hour, and then we were off to the concert. Kellie Pickler was such a delight. Telling my husband and I, and a hundred of our newest friends, about the stories behind the songs, she provided such a personal conversation with the audience. The evening closed with a wonderful nights sleep in one of the comfiest beds that I have ever touched! It was such a unique evening.

If you ever get a chance to attend a SPG Moments event, I would highly recommend it!
