Since finding out that I was pregnant, I have been on a mission to find the best skin care products for my skin. I am beyond thrilled and honored to be a mom, but stretch marks are something that I want to make sure I try my hardest not to obtain.
I have been using Young Living products for quite some time now and love the overall benefits that they are having for my family. After reading many of skin care lotion labels, I decided that the best solution of all was to make my own body cream to ensure what I was putting on my body was healthy and moisturizing.
The best thing about making this lotion is that it makes a lot! This DIY gift could also be great for moms, grandmas, or anybody that loves an extra moisturizing cream for the winter season for Christmas presents or just normal moisturizing needs! And all of the ingredients (except the Lavender, of course) can be found at any Walmart around your neighborhood corner!
Essential Ingredients:
- Bio-Oil Multiuse Skincare Oil
- Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Skin Care Cream
- Lavender Essential Oil
Directions:
Step 1: Mix together 1 tsp. or approximately 5-6 drops of Bio-Oil into one 4 oz. container of Vitamin E cream.
Step 2: Add 5 drops of lavender essential oil.
Step 3: Shake until fully mixed.
I know that they say stretch marks are mostly hereditary and even though my momma never had any stretch marks, I have been thrilled with the results. 34 weeks, no stretch marks, and a super moisturized belly!
