30before30 thursday :: visit each MLB stadium

thirty before thirty -- visit MLB stadiums

One of my largest goals to complete prior to the age of 30 is to visit all 30 major league baseball stadiums. My husband and I love, love, love baseball. Within two months of dating, we had already visited two stadiums and used to live within walking distance of our favorite team. I wanted to spend a moment and compile where we had been, where we plan to visit this summer, and hope to get some advice for the rest!

  1. St. Louis Cardinals Busch Stadium
  2. Kansas City Royals Kauffman Stadium
  3. Texas Rangers Rangers Ballpark in Arlington
  4. San Francisco Giants AT&T Park
  5. Oakland Athletics O.co Coliseum
  6. Los Angeles Dodgers Dodger Stadium
  7. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Angel Stadium of Anaheim
  8. San Diego Padres PETCO Park
  9. Chicago White Sox U.S. Cellular Field
  10. Cincinnati Reds Great American Ball Park
  11. Chicago Cubs Wrigley Field
  12. Boston Red Sox Fenway Park
  13. Atlanta Braves Turner Field
  14. Tampa Bay Rays Tropicana Field
  15. Milwaukee Brewers Miller Park

Still on the list:

  1. New York Yankees Yankee Stadium
  2. Denver Coors Field
  3. Toronto Blue Jays Rogers Centre
  4. Arizona Diamondbacks Chase Field
  5. Baltimore Orioles Oriole Park at Camden Yards
  6. Seattle Mariners Safeco Field
  7. Cleveland Indians Progressive Field
  8. Philadelphia Phillies Citizens Bank Park
  9. Washington Nationals Nationals Park
  10. New York Mets Citi Field
  11. Detroit Tigers Comerica Park
  12. Houston Astros Minute Maid Park
  13. Minnesota Twins Target Field
  14. Pittsburgh Pirates PNC Park
  15. Miami Marlins Marlins Park

With one more summer left before I turn 30, I am getting quite worried about making them all prior to my goal. As our goals and focuses have changed over the years (to paying off debt and buying/remodeling our house), I know that regardless my husband and I have a lot of good memories, especially from driving up and down the coast of California attempting this list. And unless we both start making massive amounts of money, accompanied by a lot of vacation time... we probably won't complete the hard ones, like Toronto and Seattle before we turn 30 or maybe even by 35. But we won't give up regardless of our age, for the love of baseball, adventure, and each other.

xoxo, Heather

Even if you don't get them all done by 30, don't give up! Life gets in the way sometimes, but it just delays us, not stops us! Still an attainable goal, just maybe not on your original timeline! Hit all the East Coast (Baltimore, Washington, Philly, NY x 2, in a week (if the home game schedules line up perfectly) by taking the train (way cheaper than flying, easier than driving), and I've gotten some great deals on hotels.com on the "hidden till you pay" hotels
